Marco, a leading distributor of abrasive blasting equipment, has immediate openings for the following positions: Mechanical Engineer – Davenport, IA Perform continuous new product development activities by designing detailed product specifications, conducting Gold Standard meetings, and analyzing prototype builds and new manufacturing process designs. Given the stringent requirements and overall complexity of Marco products, Engineers are tasked to collaborate with Tech Services, Quality, and Manufacturing personnel to perform testing and subsequent analysis of design iterations, as well as work hand-in-hand with Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Corporate subject matter experts for the given product lines to achieve customer and marketplace design criteria.Mechanical Pro-E/Designer – Davenport, IA Responsible for producing CAD and other technical drawings for all new product design iterations. Creates Pro-E assembly models for use in manuals. Requires solid knowledge of Pro/Engineer CAD package and a minimum of an associate degree in a technical field.Programmer – Davenport, IA The chosen candidate will be responsible for supporting Marco's existing code as well as assist in developing new technologies. This will require the ability to plan, document, develop and test database driven software development projects. The ideal candidate must display excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal and organizational skills. This position must possess the ability to work in a varied, demanding and fast paced environment. This position requires three plus years of experience with C# with strong Object Oriented Programming skills. The ability to work with ASP.Net Webforms, Visual Studio 2010, Relational Databases, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and strong SQL skills are a must. Experience with Windows Desktop, Server operating systems and Microsoft Office products are necessary. The successful candidate will be self-motivated as well as have the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines. Sales Services Specialists – Davenport, IA Tired of working retail hours and weekends? Join our Sales Services team! The ideal candidates will have a minimum of a high school diploma and 3 to 5 years of customer service, sales support or related experience. The position will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, up-selling and ensuring customer needs are met regarding product selection, order placement, pricing requests, quotations, customer concerns, returns, shortages, adjustments and literature requests. Must have excellent phone skills, be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment and work well with others. Senior Buyer – Davenport, IA Plans, organizes, directs and controls activities related to the procurement function. Responsibilities include vendor negotiations, assessment of vendor capabilities, developing alternate sources and evaluating vendor performance. The ideal candidate will also have a background in management of the Logistics function for both incoming and outgoing product.
